Utility Operations

The Utility Operations Department is responsible for the maintenance and operations of the District’s Water and Sewer systems.

The Sewer system includes the following assets:

• 75 Miles of Gravity Sewer Line
• 7 Miles of Sewer Force Main
• 4 Collection Sewer Pump Stations
• 14 Satellite Sewer Pump Stations
• 770 Sewer Manholes

A variety of service activities are required to maintain and operate District sewer systems:

• Sewer Line Cleaning
• Sewer Spill Response
• Pump Station Maintenance
• Easement Clearing and Maintenance
• Manhole Cleaning
• Sewer Line Repair
• Video Inspections of Sewer Lines
• Service Connection Maintenance
• Underground Service Alert Marking

The Water system includes the following assets:

• 3,622 Water Meters for our Customers
• Production and Treatment of 536 Million Gallons of Water in 2008
• Eight (8) Water Tanks with 3.47 Million Gallons of Storage
• Six (6) Pressure Zones
• Three (3) Booster Systems
• Two (2) Wells
• Three (3) Lake Intakes
